Meet the Doctor

With years of both private practice and as an Assistant Professor and Instructor at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Doctor D’s treatment philosophy is well established. Recognizing that there are often multiple solutions to dental problems, Dr. Dlugokinski’s first interest is in understanding the patient’s dental interests and goals. His practical approach to life is extended to patients such that the long term stability and structural integrity of dental restorations is of the highest importance which provides the patient with the most conservative and financially responsible solutions to dental problems.

While teaching dental students at the Medical College of Georgia, Mark met Amanda Akins, Blue Ridge native and graduate of the Medical College of Georgia’s, School of Dental Hygiene.

While visiting Amanda’s family, Mark quickly understood and shared her love for the Blue Ridge Community and North Georgia Mountains. They wed in July 2000 and in 2003, the Dlugokinski made Blue Ridge their home where they are proud to be raising their son, Jack Christian and their daughter Jade Caroline.
